How Kella looks after your information
Written in plain English. Last reviewed September 2026.
Kella is operated by The Lymph Clinic Ltd (Company No. 16230220), Red House Farm, Red House Lane, Altrincham WA14 5RL, which is the data controller for the Kella service. You can reach us at support@kellahealth.co.uk.
Your name, email address, date of birth and main goal, which you give us when you set up your profile. Your daily check-ins, logged treatments and activities, notes and self-care routine progress. If you connect a wearable, the sleep, heart rate, heart-rate variability and activity data you allow Kella to read from your Google account. If your clinic uploads blood results, those results once released to you.
If you choose to tell Kella about your periods, or that you are perimenopausal or menopausal, and log related symptoms, we treat that as health information in the same way as everything else here. It is optional, only you and your clinical team can see it, and you can change or remove it at any time from your profile.
If you connect a Fitbit or Pixel Watch, Kella asks your permission, through Google, to read three things: your activity and fitness data, your health metrics such as heart rate and heart-rate variability, and your sleep data. We read only these, once a day, to add them to your own trends and, with your consent, to show them to your clinical team. We store them on our EU servers alongside your check-ins. We never use this data for advertising, never sell it, never share it with anyone other than you and your clinic, and no one at Kella reads it except to fix a problem you have reported or as required by law. You can disconnect at any time from Profile → Manage devices, or remove Kella's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions; once disconnected, we stop collecting new data and delete the stored Google data if you ask us to. Kella's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, and the Google Health API terms.
To show you your own picture over time, and, with your consent, to show it to the clinical team at your clinic so they can supervise and adjust your care. This is the whole purpose of Kella. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with anyone else.
When you set up your profile you record your consent for your clinic's clinical team to view the wellbeing data you record. The date and time of that consent is shown on your profile. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing support@kellahealth.co.uk; your clinic will then no longer see your data in Kella.
Your data is stored on servers in the European Union and reached only through your sign-in. We keep it for as long as you have a Kella account. If you close your account we delete your data, except where your clinic is required to retain part of it as your clinical record.
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email support@kellahealth.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Kella uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies.
